We are excited to tell we have updated beer map and started to spread craft culture among Peruvian beer fans. During June we traveled to the far north of the country, to cross border with eleven of our specialties and make all the inhabitants of Inca lands to share Kunstmann experience.
Additionally, we are seeking to position our beloved city of Valdivia as a beer core in Latin America. Therefore, we are working to inform consumers correctly about our origins and highlight ingredients of each of our beers. For example, the use of Valdivian soft water, and typical products of the zone like honey and blueberry
This new milestone will be a great challenge, because of the increasing artisan category in Peru. Even, beers are commonly used as pairings in their developed gastronomy, so we find it a great opportunity for our team of brewer masters and specialists to contribute with their professionalism and knowledge.
In launching ceremony, our founder Armin Kunstmann mentioned, “We have high expectations with the arrival in the neighbor country, with new experiences to the wide range of varieties and products for local brewers. In addition, it´s challenge since this market is mainly focused to industrial massive beers consumption, so we hope to surprise with craft varieties. We also want to publicize our hometown and wonders of southern Chile. ”
The eleven specialties representing us in Peru are: Kunstmann Lager, Torobayo, Bock, Honey, Alcohol Free, Lager Unfiltered, Blueberry, Wheat, Session IPA, Gran Torobayo and Gran Lager. If you have the opportunity to visit the country, you can find them in Wong and Tottus supermarkets, as well as specialized stores such as Almendariz, Ekama, Miar, Sumon, among others.
